Competition Pom Teams

Wednesday: Highgate, SA (all ages)

Pom is a style of jazz dance using pom poms that focuses on strong arm movements. Join our ‘STARZ’ or ‘SIRENS’ teams!

Students compete in the DanceAbility section at a variety of competitions around Adelaide. This section allows coaches to signal from the front of the stage while dancers are performing. For more information about DanceAbility click here.

Competition Lyrical


A combination of  ballet and jazz elements, using inspiration of movement from the music and emotions being portrayed throughout the song. Join our ‘SHINE’ team!

Female Dancer

Strength, Stretch & Tumble

Friday: Pooraka, SA (ages 11+)

This 60-minute class includes stretching, cardio and strength circuits, and tumbling. It is a fun class for all ages and abilities! No experience necessary.

Competition Hip Hop

Tuesday: Modbury Heights, SA (ages 10 & under)

A unique, upbeat, and exciting style of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements. The laidback style allows dancers to let loose and express themselves through their movements and music. Join our ‘STOMP’ team!

Hip Hop Class

CheerAbility Competition Cheerleading: Level 1 Team

Friday: Pooraka, SA (all ages)

Cheerleading involves stunting, tumbling, jumping and dancing. We offer classes to develop these skills in a fun and safe environment, with qualified cheer and tumble coaches.

Students will learn a combination of stunting and tumbling skills to put together a competition cheerleading routine. Students will perform and compete in the CheerAbility section at competitions around Adelaide. This section allows coaches to be safety spotters on the floor with the students. Coaches can also signal from the front of the stage while students are performing.

Students learn dance routines in pom, jazz and hip hop and participate in activities with ribbons, pom-poms, and games.
This class is a fun and creative outlet for students to build confidence, spatial awareness, rhythm, endurance and encourages socialisation! Our classes are run in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Youth Tap Dance Rehearsal



A unique style where a dancer wears shoes fitted with heel and toe taps so they can create different and fun beats by rhythmically striking the floor.

Perform-Ability is Australia’s fastest growing performing arts program for people of all ages with disabilities. Each class is tailored to suit the abilities of the students in the class. Dance is a wonderful way to gain confidence and make friends. For less mobile students, our dance classes are a great way for physical therapy to be incorporated in a fun and musical environment. Dance is also great for the mind as the students are encouraged to remember routines using imagery, muscle memory and music. Although our disability dance classes are full of fun and games, we understand that discipline is also an important skill and this is gently implemented into all of our programs. With the release of the Dance For Inclusion™️ training program, Alana is the first and only qualified instructor in South Australia! Perform-Ability Online Dance

Zoom classes for all ages

Since the global pandemic of COVID19, Perform-Ability has been offering online classes via zoom. Blown away by the success of these classes, they are now offering weekly classes and private lessons online as a part of their permanent Perform-Ability program! These classes will be taught by qualified Perform-Ability instructors around Australia, who are friends with Miss Alana.

Ballet is considered the foundation of all styles of dance. It is a great steppingstone to progress in all kinds of dance, other sports and activities too, suitable for both female and male dancers. Ballet focuses on movements and positions of the arms, feet, and body, this allows the dancer to move with agility, control, speed, lightness, and grace.

Zumba Gold

with Helen

Zumba Gold is a fabulously fun fitness program based on exciting Latin and international dance styles. Zumba Gold offers cardiovascular, toning, and balance training benefits in a party-like atmosphere. The moves are designed to be easy-to-follow for everyone. We welcome all students and their parents/guardians/Support Workers to join this class!

Mat Pilates


Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise, focusing on the breath and precise movement. Our Pilates practice is performed on a mat and aims to strengthen and condition the body, particularly the core and posture. We welcome all students and their parents/ guardians/Support Workers to join this class!
